Swiss Ham and Noodle Casserole

I meant to take a picture before we ate the casserole but I forgot. Sorry it is not a beautiful picture but this is a really yummy casserole. I got the recipe from a family cookbook that was put together a few years back. This was my first time making it but I am sure I will be making it again here in the future.

The recipe is:
2 T. Butter
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
1 lg. can or 2 small cans cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
1 (8oz) pkg. pasta of your choice.
2 c. cooked ham, diced
2 c. cheddar cheese, grated (I used white cheddar)

In a saucepan melt butter and saute onions and green peppers until tender. Remove from heat and add soup and sour cream. Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with pam.

Layer the following:
1. 1/2 noodles
2. 1/2 cheese
3. 1/2 ham
4. 1/2 sauce
Then repeat with next layer. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes.
