February card class

Here are this weeks card class cards. I don't know anyone having a baby that is going to be here when they have it or are even planning on coming back to Beijing after the have it. But I am sure at some point they will be of use. That is what happens when you live in China. I had my baby here but a lot of people still go back home to have theirs.

Here is the boy card.

I have been wanting to do an according card for awhile. They are extra special but can be used for anything.

Thanks for looking!

Sweet Nothing Stationary Box

Here is my second stationary box. This one is a bit bigger than the first box since when I made the first one I realized that the envelopes that I have are too big for the box. So I made a few adjustments from the tutorial and made the box to fit what I already have.
If you would like to see the tutorial go to www.splitcoaststampers.com and look under resources.

This kit includes a spot to place a pen or pencil, a pocket for postage, and a 4 page book to write addresses or birthdays.

13 scallop note cards,

eight 3x3 cards,

and five 5-1/2"x 4-1/4" cards with envelopes.

Hope you enjoyed them.

Sunshine Garden Stationary Box

For Spring Fair I decided that I needed to make a few things that would cost more than the few dollars that I will be selling my cards for. That would be the best way to at least replace my costs for having a booth. So I found the tutorial for these cute little boxes on Splitcoast stampers.
I plan to make about 10 of the boxes. They take a bit of time but I plan on selling them for 150rmb.

Each of the kits will be slightly different but this on includes:
a six page book to write addresses or birthdays on,
Eight 3x3 cards,

14 small tags,

and five 5-1/2"x 4-1/4" cards with envelopes

January Card Class

Here are the cards we made at last weeks card class. I love Valentines and was very excited to break out this glittery paper.

I really enjoy these easel cards they make it so easy to display your work of art!

We did four 3x3 cards so that you could give them to your children or friend.

Last but not least we are back to the chocolate boxes. I am just in love with these little boxes. It amazes me how simply wrapping the chocolates make them seem so special, and they are so quick to put together.

Friends and Flowers sticker and paper pack cards

I was a bit tried of stamping too so I pulled out this sticker packet and made a bunch of cards with it. I wanted to use everything up but in the end just made cards until I was tired of making these kinds of cards. But I am pretty happy with how they turned out. The circle one was a fun change since I often make the normal rectangle. But it was also a bit fun to do a big card. Most of the cards are around 6-1/2" x 5 1/4" or some where around that. I used a bunch of blank cards I bought at Micheal's a few years back that came with envelopes. I knew they would come in handy. I think I might of even gotten a few from a friend a while back.

While I am writing this post I am listening to the fireworks of Chinese New Year, all I can say is I wish it would stop. I have had to put my kids back in bed several times and it is not even 9pm yet. Note to self, do not stay in China over Chinese New Year! Next year I think we will go to Hawaii

By Land Cards

Here are the cards I made a few weeks ago with a stamp set called By Land. I have a few more ideas that I want to make into cards but have not had much time to stamp. I started the P90X workout a week into January and that has taken a ton of my time. But I want to get into shape too. So I guess it is a give and a take;) Hope you enjoy the cards. It has been a while since I did kids cards and it was a nice change of pace.

Bhavik's #3 Birthday

Here is my Bhavik man with his monkey birthday cake that James made him. I can hardly believe he is three. Time flies so quickly. I just love his face in this picture!
Sorry this post is so late since his birthday was way back the beginning of January but my VPN wouldn't work last month, but it seems that James has been able to fix the problem for me, Yeah! So I will have many more updates soon to come.

I'm so Lucky
